9 steps to improve your home network security
1) Change the default username and password on your wireless router;
2) Use WPA3 or WPA2 for wireless security;
3) Disable the broadcasting of your SSID (Wi-Fi name) on your wireless router;
4) Disable the router Ethernet ports on your wireless router;
5) Configure MAC filtering on your wireless router;
6) Set up a Guest wireless network for your guests on your wireless router;
7) Monitor the network for unknown devices connected to your wireless network;
8) Disable the WPS function if you do not use it;
9) Use a VPN for web browsing.
