Georgia Democrats sue election board over new certification process
Georgia Democrats have filed a lawsuit against that state's election board over a new election certification process. Democrats want to block the new rules, which may give local officials the power to delay the certification of election results.
The news comes as Georgia and several other states have been in legal fights for months now in an effort to determine the rules and regulations for the upcoming 2024 election. Scripps News Justice Correspondent Jamal Andress has more.
