This morning I walked into a room with a prone lying patient. He knows the drill. I rested my hand on his spine and felt a form of chaos not usual to him. He's a counselor and new to the healing profession. I was overcome with words and blurted... "Have you been taking care of yourself... cuz you know you can't listen to other people's stress all day and not have an outlet to disperse the energy?"
He arches his head back and turns towards me to say "How the hell did you know that?"
Me: I'm not sure
crack, crunch, boom
Next room.
Long time patient. 65 year old man. I adjusted him 2x a month for the last 5 years. I walked in, noticed something different... looked deeply into his eyes and said "what's going on? what happened? everything ok?"
He smashed his face in his hands and starts balling and after a good cry and a long story about his son he said "You just picked that up immediately when you walked in?"
Me: "yeah idk"
Crack pop crunch
almost lunch
2 more... I open the door and the turn tables... An intuitive patient says to me immediately upon entry "What's wrong?"
I laughed and said... "no no... that's just my last patient... I didn't quite process it yet so the sadness is still in my face"
Then we argued about why her opinion that "men are selfish" is ultimately misplaced
At the end of the visit her spine and mind were aligned and I'm out without a trace
Then I had a herniated disc case
finally, an easy one
the whole time I was thinking... I should really grab a camera for channel 2
LOL
I did not however... super sad face bc it would have been a killer video. The man hobbled in crooked and frolicked out like a little school girl... which was a hilarious animation for a 50 year old construction worker
They're not always that easy but I'll take it
