I was headed to work and saw 2 adults and 2 children standing over something. I just drove by. But then I stopped shortly after passing lol. Sat there for a minute and looked at the clock and had a small anxiety attack figuring out how much time I had before my first human patient.

Threw it in reverse and rolled down the window.

Me: “Is it dead”

Them: “We don’t know”

Would have been a way cooler intro had I recorded it it but I’m a sh*tty YouTuber.

In the end, the bird was taken to a vet.

Waiting for an update on condition and prognosis.

Also want to acknowledge that my finger on the birds neck looks AI but I don’t have that production capacity. It’s the edge of a feather and the sharp angle of my finger. tried to zoom in but it makes it look more fake. lol.

Can’t believe I even have to say that.

This was pretty good. The dad told me he had been laying there lifeless for several minutes. They didn’t know if he was even alive.

It was most likely a head on collision/ neck injury/ whiplash and concussion…

Birds occasionally fly into stuff and knock themselves out. Sometimes the injury is mild sometimes severe up to death.

This was at least a moderate injury.

My intervention seemed to be helpful.

Even if I only expedited the recovery process.

Bc really that’s the whole point of chiropractic.

We don’t heal anything.

The body knows what to do.

Adjustments help the body remember.
