Welcome back, Educators.
We’ll download the shape that we’ve created as a PNG file.
Then we’ll insert it into another slide as an image.
But before doing that, let’s add the last touches.
Select the shape, then click Format options.
On the Format options sidebar, click Drop shadow.
Edit the drop shadow, then close the sidebar.
Make sure the background of the slide is transparent.
In part 4 of this series, we’ve explored all about the slide background in detail.
If you’d like, take a look if you didn’t watch it yet.
Now, click Duplicate slide on the Edit menu.
Change the background of the second slide to yellow.
To download the slide as a PNG file, first select it.
Then on the file menu, click Download, then PNG image.
To download the second slide, repeat the same process.
Now we have 2 PNG images, one with transparent background and the other with yellow color.
Wait, it looks like a white background and doesn’t transparent.
Did I do something wrong?
Yes, it is a transparent background image. To confirm, let’s do this exercise.
Add a new slide.
Set an image as its background.
Duplicate the slide.
On the third slide, insert the transparent PNG image.
As we see, the background is transparent.
On the fourth slide, insert the yellow PNG image.
And this is the shape with yellow background saves as an image.
That’s it, have fun. Thanks for watching.
