Light and bubbles | Mission: Materials Science
In this at-home experiment, you'll look at bubbles in a whole new light. First, you’ll make your own bubbles using water, dish soap and corn syrup. Then you’ll examine how the colors swirl and change when you turn on a flashlight. Scientists researching “structural color” use lessons from this same experiment to develop new materials.
