Certain factors can increase a person’s risk of suicide. If you recognize yourself in any of these factors, that does NOT mean you are destined to experience a suicidal crisis. It means that you may need to be vigilant about maintaining your health.

Talking about mental health and suicide is hard, but it’s critically important—it can even be lifesaving.
