Thomas Adventures are new Thomas And Friends diecast toys that replace Thomas Take N Play. Gone is the lazy magnet that was introduced in 2013, it's been replaced with a very clever clip connector. This style of train coupling is stronger than magnets and can connect to many other Thomas toys. Seeing a Thomas Adventures connect to Trackmaster 2 Gordon will shock many viewers. I have found this connector will work with Thomas MINIS, Thomas ERTL. Only Thomas Wooden Railway is left out due to it's magnet coupling. This design change does leave Thomas Adventures characters unable to connect to Thomas Take Alongs and Take N Plays. Mattel do have an adaptor pack available for a short time but the overall feel is Thomas Adventures is a positive move forward that delivers these popular train toys at a much lower price. In this video apart from looking over the Thomas characters I also investigate the packaging and information that's different on three toys. I wonder why some vital info is left off. Especially the DVD Thomas film that the Original Thomas is related to. It seems a lure to YouTube kids is now more important.
