Welcome back to my water (related mechanics) tutorial series. This video starts the boat mechanics. It covers:
Boat with buoyancy
Enter and exit with UI prompt
Different types of entering (sitting in boat, standing in boat etc)
Wheel and propellor options
Physics based driving functions (using force + torque)
Drives slower if on land
IK system (to hold wheel)
Foam system
Hull masking
NOTE: This video covers only the master blueprint template so it will contain all the functions, events, macros etc that is required to then make any other type of boat you want. The end result of this will not be a direct drivable boat but you must make child classes of it and add extra code. The next few videos will cover this as I show how to make different types of boats
