‘LAST BREATH’ was written in Rachel‘s hometown of Atlanta with her closest friends and producers. They all sat in a room and in light of all the chaos going on in the world they wanted to write about what actually happens if life really is over, if life as we know it ends… between wars being started in other countries, people revolting everywhere, COVID lasting longer than we all thought and losing so many people we love and care about. With so much chaos going on, never knowing when our last day on earth is, Rachel wanted to write about what would happen to love and if it was the last day on earth how would she treat the one that she loves the most? What would you do? Where would you go if the world was coming to an end? Would you give anything and battle to be united with your person forever no matter what obstacles and potential disasters you may face? It’s a song about love in its truest form that you find in the midst of chaos and hold onto for dear life. Apocalyptic love never goes out of style and that’s truly what the world needs.
