Annie & Rocco find ways to manage their emotional outbursts fueled by anger. Rocco finds quiet time painting, while Annie writes in her music studio. Time spent daily on these meditative activities provides a certain level of introspection and most importantly, a calming environment.

Tantrums can be quite exhausting. It can take a toll emotionally, physically and spiritually for everyone involved. Emotional outbursts can also lead to the use of hurtful language, physical pain, delusion, intolerance and ultimately depression.

Helping children manage their own anger can in turn help us adults become better managers of our own emotional imbalance. Raising healthy children is one of the toughest jobs for parents, caregivers and teachers. It can be quite a task for adults to maintain emotional balance when interacting with children that are joyously laughing one second and screaming at the top of their lungs in an outrageous, uncontrollable temper tantrum the next.

We aim to create educational and uplifting content that can help with social emotional development. Using music, illustration and puppetry, our hope is to connect with growing minds to teach self-regulation. Learning about feelings and identifying our feelings and emotions is the first step. Identifying the root cause of the emotional outburst is the next and implementing habits and exercises that help with managing not only the reaction, but the source, is the ultimate goal.

Anger can sometimes lead to emotional outbursts that can harmful. We can teach our mind and body to respond to anger in more positive ways, like having quiet time, talking to people you trust and meditation. Peace can happen! It takes effort. It's worth it!
