Why is this laptop called the creator edition? Well it has almost everything that a creator would love to have on a laptop at this price range. Almost. I love this laptop, but there are three things which bother me about it so make sure to stay to the end of the video to see what I love and what I dislike.
Price - alternate to the 16 inch MacBook
I would be comparing the MSI Z16 to the MacBook Pro a lot because that’s like the gold standard of laptops in terms of performance and efficiency today.
Now comparing the MSI z16 to the MacBook pro using the the i9 version of the MSI, which comes with 32gb Ram and 2tb ssd storage, costs 3,000 dollars on Amazon. But for a limited time, it’s been dropped to 2,749 dollars so check the link for the best deals I find.
Whilst if you wanted a MacBook Pro with 32gb Ram and 1TB of storage, you would pay about 3,500 dollars.
The version I have though, is the 11th gen i7 variant, which comes with 16 gigs Ram and 1TB storage and that is still cheaper than the MacBook with similar specs. You will get that one for 2,300 dollars today, whilst the similarly specked MacBook Pro will cost you 2,700 dollars.
So are you you really saving money by buying the MSI Z16 as compared to the MacBook, well, let’s take a closer look.
