How to install BYD Atto 3 Android app and link to your car

This is one of the greatest human mysteries (jokes) - after you install the app, how does the app know which one is your car? Surely you can't just use it to control any BYD car, correct?

The truth is, it connects to your car via the email you used to buy your car. So, if you no loger have access to the email address you used to buy your car, you're pretty stuffed.
