This video explains how you can split a database using database splitter in MS Access. Splitting a database means creating two databases from one. One of the split database is called the back end, contains only tables and relationships. The front end database contains queries, macros, code and UI elements such as forms and reports. If your database has a password the back end database is created without a password and you need to add the password after split.
