Use ARRAY PATH to draw a Candy cane in AutoCAD
Array Path allows you to take an object and array it along a polyline or a spline. You can either select the object, array path, then select the path or type the Array Path command then select object, press enter then select the path
Tip: Make sure your path is continuous, for best results, may require trim and extend at the end.
