Deploy Owncast RTMP Streaming Server on Amazon EC2 Ubuntu Linux Instance
In this video, we will explore how you can set up your own private streaming server. To accomplish this, we will self-host the Owncast open source RTMP streaming server software on an Amazon EC2 instance running Ubuntu Linux Server. We will use Docker Compose to define the container, ports, and volumes, and the run the service. We will also create a DNS record to point to the server and use Caddy as a TLS-enabled reverse proxy.
