Hi, This video explains Newton's Laws of Motion and how it is to be applied. All observations of any physical event are made by people (or cameras) , they are located in a fixed spot or moving in a constant velocty or accelrating .
Physical events as per Newton's Laws of Motion can be a huge variety, like a Box standing on a table, a book sitting on a shelf, a Block moving on a plane, a ball hit by a baseball bat, a cricket ball thrown or hit in a parabolic motion, a football kicked , or a car moving in a straight line, a car moving along a turn (circular motion), and so on.
The whole "SCENE" including the person watching the motion, and the MOTION being watched is a Frame of Reference.
Newton's Laws call for using the simplest of physics. A straight line motion is simplest, and F=ma is simple equation, provided we are in an Inertial Frame. Imagine if we see this very same motion from somewhere outside the Earth, we will see it as a curved motion, due to the Earth's rotation. Then the same motion would be Rotary Motion, then there is centripetal acceleration at every instanmt, that makes it a Non-Inertial Frame , the equations will become much much more complex.
There are two frames of reference:
1) Inertial Frame of Reference
2) Non-Inertial Frame of Reference
