Welcome to the beginning of development for Project Ascend. This video will show some of the gameplay features in development for the game. This project is a role-playing game, developed in Unity.
This video shows a few iterations of the first enemy created in Blender. By changing the settings, the model has switched from being blocky to something smoother.
Next, I've played around with a few lights to create these glowing orbs. They use materials with an emissive property, as well as an internal light source, to give the green and red glows. The bar in the player's hand also has an emissive material attached, giving it a lightsaber look.
In the next video, I'll show some more controls for the player, and a cool targetting technique!
