How to Use the Interview Set Tool in QuickMVP
To create a new interview set, click on “New Interview Set”.
Under “Customer Segment”, enter your target customer, for example, if we are testing a service for college students, we would enter “College students, aged 18-25”.
Under problem hypothesis, enter the problem you believe your target customer has or is experiencing. For example, “Difficulty with Studying for Exams”.
Under riskiest assumption, select an option from the drop down menu that reflects what you need to prove in order to continue working on this idea. For this example, we’ll state that existing solutions are not good enough for our segment. .
After creating the set, you can being to enter interview notes for each potential customer that you interview. For example, if you are on a college campus, you can create a new interview tab for each student you talk with.
To help you rate each response, QuickMVP provides you with a scoring questionnaire at the end of each interview. Once filled out, QuickMVP takes the data and provides you with a “Problem Score”, to help you know if you’ve discovered a potential pain point. The more hearts, the greater the pain point, and the more likely you have discovered a potential issue you can solve.
Interview data can continue to be gathered and analyzed until you see fit. Using this tool is a fantastic way to help you analyze your idea by gathering real-world data from potential customers.
