In this tutorial I'm going to show you an easy way to turn your guitar into an ukulele. Not literally. But after that, your guitar will sound a lot like a ukulele. And you will be able to play all the ukulele chords on the guitar.
First of all we need to set the capo to the fifth fret. If you don't have one, you can use the old trick with a pencil from this video: • 5 DIY Guitar Accessories You Should M... . Now place your thumb between the sixth and the fifth strings (so, we just mute them). The remaining four strings - exactly match the strings on the ukulele. Additionally, you can put nylon strings on the guitar (this will make the sound more like a ukulele). But do not forget that nylon strings will not sound on an electric guitar.
By the way, the fact that there are six strings on the guitar, but we have only five fingers, always annoyed me. If it annoys you too - write about it in the comments, or tell your therapist.
