Today we build a macro keyboard, which gives us the ability to associate a key combination with each of 12 buttons. This way we always have the keyboard shortcuts we use most often at our fingertips, saving a lot of time when working at the computer. The shortcuts associated with each macropad key are very easily customizable from Arduino code, and the keyboard is compatible with Windows, Mac OS, and all operating systems.
