Security code | Can I use saved Gmail security instead of 8-digit backup code

The security code does not use for future login.
if you want to login another device then the security
code is used instead of an 8-digit backup code but you must
be logged in to your device.
if you not logged in then you can't get the security
code.
if you screenshot your security code for future use
then it useless because the security code automatically changes either you use it or not.
so google doesn't give any save option like 8 digit
code.
