Shout out to anyone who recognises this image ! It represents quite a lot in the history of CG. Personally it was the first time I was blown away by what a Global illumination renderer could do. on a CPU. sSo what was the 3D renderer that originally produced this image ?
This is now realtime on the GPU in UE4 and the same revolution happens at 30 fps ! Crasy times, we live in my friends.
