ABANDONED UNDERGROUND RAILWAY TUNNEL IN THE NORTH EAST
In this video I find an old railway tunnel from the 1800s that has been buried for a number of years. The place was pitch black, even though I had a head torch and 2 good hand held torches, so sorry if it's dark in places. The tunnel had been back filled twice, after getting over the first lot of mud I found an old bike lane the council tried to put through a part of the tunnel over 20 years ago, the lamps on the tunnel roof have all survived and are still there.
