Public-Private Integration or Public-Private Partnership is a valuable component for strengthening health systems. It enables governments to collaborate with the private sector in pooling resources, combining the managerial and technical skills of both to improve the health of the population.
In this session, two cases will be presented: of how the private sector has been integrated in reporting of key maternal health data in Sri Lanka; and of a public-private collaboration to implement a case-based tuberculosis system in Pakistan.
