In this video, I explain the primary difference between a box plot and a modified box plot using a real-life example. The modified version provides a more detailed representation of potential outliers by extending the whiskers only to a certain distance from the quartiles and explicitly showing individual outlier points. At the same time, the traditional box plot has its whiskers extending to the maximum and the minimum values. The modified box plot helps identify and analyze extreme values in the dataset.
