How to Migrate from sphpblog to WordPress

How to migrate from the outdated sphpblog CMS to WordPress. Simply copy the blog entry's raw HTML to the WordPress Editor, and the entry is converted. Granted, a script would greatly facilitate the process; but for a migration, you most likely need to change many elements of your posts, such as categories and featured pictures. So a manual conversion is recommended.
