The mistake that’s easy to make when trying to fix flat feet is that we look at collapsed arches as just a foot problem. Interestingly, in most cases, it’s not.
Clinically, flat feet are often the end result of an issue with the overall mechanics of the leg. More specifically, an internally rotating, valgus-type tendency. One that is insanely common in today’s modern world.
So in order to make significant gains towards solving common issues associated with collapsed arches we also need to look more broadly at what’s causing these issues.
In today’s video, I discuss this root cause of flat feet and go through three important exercises to reclaim good arch function again.
