The Yamaha MM6 and MM8 were simplified workstations from the 00's. They bought easy access to solid sounds empowered by effects and arpeggiators, on a canvas of interesting, modern styles. Advanced synthers would be frustrated with the lack of depth, but there's no denying the raw FUN that this short-lived line of keyboards handed to us on a plate 🤘
