Summation of this channel:
= a handywoman and her dog’s day to day
learning the trades (home repair, plumbing, electrical and everything in between)
appreciating Washington state in the US ☂
some “former economist” perspective
a healthy sprinkle of “I don’t want to forget my Japanese roots

At 30 y.o., I quit my post-bachelors forensic economist job and enrolled in trade school with absolutely no handiwork experience/knowledge.
I started with not knowing what a laser level is or how the plumbing system works to starting a handywoman business.
Amidst the above, I also realized I need to work alone and for myself. But like many others, I often doubt myself.
To keep myself accountable and to be able to look back on my progress, I decided to post all about it in video form!
I also have been blessed with first hand experience of a heartwarming community that could and had formed from a single video (est. 2012, iykyk, it’s “privated” now). I hope to create that space through this channel.
