There’s this awesome “What If… Naruto?” YouTube channel. However, it does have certain likes for things I just can’t stand: Boruto - Next Generations, Hinata Hyūga, NaruHina, SasuHina and nerfing down Naruto. I don’t know if he’s going to talk about his favorite things in his videos or not. Unfortunately, a lot of times he manages to squeeze in all of those things. I had to put up with it for a few seconds until, I clicked on the back button.
Anyway, let’s discuss the synopsis of this episode.
Synopsis: Naruto sneaks into the village. He kills off Hinata, some ANBU Black Ops and Lord Hiruzen. Because, he thinks The Third Hokage deserves it for what he did; not telling him the truth of his parents, never stopping the villagers from mistreating him, not caring for him the way he promised his mom he would, etc. He kills the old man’s Black Ops because, they were in his way. He kills Hinata because, he could never stand her.
Sasuke gets there just as he’s leaving and tries to stop him. Naruto is out of time and doesn’t want the Uchiha police force to get there. So he does the first thing that comes to mind and stabs his best friend.
Even though he doesn’t show any remorse for his actions… he does feel guilty. He even regrets it later that night. Because, he’s not sure if Sasuke’s even still alive or not.
But, Sasuke is very much alive. We see him bandaged and telling Sakura what happened that night. He tells her that their friend has been consumed by darkness and killed Lord Hiruzen. He tells her that he needs them. When she hears this about the love of her life, she can’t stop herself from crying.
Meanwhile, Obito is trying his best to make Naruto feel more hatred towards The Hidden Leaf Village. He continuously reminds him of how everyone treated him. Making the blond remember everything about why he chose to turn on them.
After Fugaku has a meeting with his clan. He decides to plan a Coup d’état with the help of The 9 Tails. He plans on extracting it from the boy and controlling it with his sharingan. Then, unleashing it on the village.
Of course, Sasuke knows that the extracting of it will mean killing his best friend in the process. He isn’t okay with his dad’s plan. Not in the slightest.
Shisui, his older cousin, can see that Sasuke isn’t okay with his uncle’s plan. He tries to talk to him. He tries to convince him to not let his personal feelings for the blond cloud his judgement. But, he rejects his advice and refuses to allow his dad to kill Naruto.
Without having any other choice to stop him. He ends up killing his own father. Only a few people know what he did; Mikoto, Itachi and Shisui. But, they end up covering it up. Because, they understand why he did it and secretly weren’t okay with Fugaku’s decision.
A few days later, Sasuke and Naruto end up fighting once more. Sasuke still tries to convince Naruto to stop his path of darkness and return home with him. Naruto refuses and the two end up battling it out. Sasuke is more determined than ever after going to the lengths he did for Naruto. But, Naruto still manages to defeat him and run away.

☆ I once saw a very accurate meme or just quote someone did about Sasuke and Naruto. Like, about their relationship. They said that, Sasuke would kill for Naruto. Naruto would die for him. Which couldn’t have been more perfect! So that’s why I had Sasuke kill his own dad.
☆ I mean, despite what anyone else says about them. I’ve always thought that Sasuke was more obsessed with Naruto.
♥︎ He said he wanted to kill him. Why didn’t he go after him when Obito told him to go capture The 8 or 9 Tails? Wouldn’t it have made more sense for him to go and kill the guy he kept on ALWAYS claiming he wanted to kill than a complete stranger?
♥︎ He’s always been the most possessive out of the two.
♥︎ Naruto is definitely the person most precious to him (Naruto Gaiden and Boruto - Next Generations are non-existent to me. So ignore them!!!) after his family.
♥︎ One of his main priorities has always subconsciously been protecting Naruto. He saved him from Haku. When they were in the middle of the freaking Fourth Shinobi War, he shielded Naruto with his tsusano from Obito’s attack. He kept on worrying about Naruto when the dude was actually holding his own. When he thought they might not win the war, he said that his original plan from the start was to run and take Naruto with him. When Naruto asked him to help Sakura, Kakashi and an unconscious Obito as they were all falling down a volcano… he only rescued Naruto and completely ignored the others. (I could honestly go on and on for hours on other examples but, I’ve barely slept 5 hours and I need my full 8 hours to fully function. But, it doesn’t look like that’ll be the case today.)
