How to open File Extension in windows 10

In Windows 10, file extensions for known file types are hidden by default. If your file does have an extension, it's easy to show file extensions, and you’ll have to turn the setting on in File Explorer to see them..
Just select a file and select View tab from the top ribbon. Check the box beside File name extensions. You’ll now see that all files with an extension.
