Dealing with Phase Issues - EQ on Dual Mic Recordings
If you record a source with more than one microphone this is one EQ mistake you cannot make.
When used correctly, EQ helps shape tone, reduce mud, add air, and find a place for all instruments and vocals in a mix, but it does more than adjust frequencies and that where the trouble begins. Don't let out of phase tracks destroy your mix.
