How to Add or Delete Tracks from Premiere Pro in Seconds
This tutorial is on how add or delete tracks from Premiere Pro. You can do this in seconds. Here’s how:
The quickest way to add a video track is to grab a clip that is currently on a video track then drag it above all the other tracks and release. This works the same way with audio tracks. Click a clip on an audio track then drag it under all of the audio tracks and the Master track. When you release a new audio track will be created.
Alternatively you can right-click a blank area in the timeline and click Add Tracks… From this new window you can select how many video or audio tracks you want to create and if you want to create them on top of the other tracks, under them, or somewhere in the middle (the tutorial explains this a little better IMO).
To delete tracks, right-click a blank area in the timeline and click Delete Tracks… You have to check Delete Video Tracks or Delete Audio Tracks for any deleting of tracks to occur. From the dropdown you can choose to delete All Empty Tracks or select a specific track to delete.
