Today I'm diving DEEP into the world of the Ethernet link layer (layer 2). It's a very misunderstood part of network engineering, and confusion around the relationships between layers 2 and 3, VLANs, and why layer 2 and 3 are how they are, can easily trip up newcomers. But I'm going much further than that, from the basics of Ethernet framing, to bridged forwarding, spanning trees, and more!
