With SQL projects you can store your database definition in source control in addition to automating deployments of database object changes through CI/CD environments like GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps pipelines. SDK-style SQL projects are now in preview in Visual Studio and VS Code, adding package references and other improvements to the original SQL projects.
