Check if cell CONTAINS text from list in Excel

Using COUNTIFS to reconcile lists where you have a partial text match but you are worried that some of the partial matches could have multiple different answers e.g. bank statement reconciliations where you can use partial matches to find a payees details, even if they put different reference numbers around their names.
