In this video we will explore how to calculate the difference between start and end value in tooltip in chart js. Calculating the difference and displaying it on a tooltip is specifically done for a waterfall chart in chart js. Which is essence is a floating bar chart in chart js.
To do this we need to focus on the callbacks features of the tooltip in chartjs. What we want to do is get the tooltip values and calculate the difference where we need to extract the highest value compare to the lowest value.
