THUNDER IN THE VALLEY AS POLISH F-16s AND FINNISH F-18s TACKLE THE MACH LOOP - 4K
Exercise Cobra Warrior drew many NATO members to the United Kingdom recently with low level flying as part of its objectives. The Polish visitors in their F-16 Fighting Falcons must be regulars to Mach Loop videos on Youtube as they dropped into the valleys with ease and followed the contours like experts. The Finnish hornets a little high and slowed the tempo down for a lap before sighting an RAF typhoon which guided them through low. It was great to see the Finnish flying the loop for the first time. The United States air force in their F-16 falcons based in Aviano in Italy historically fly the loop on the high side managed to drop in and gave us some landlocked passes as they flew by. Other visitors in the video were a pair of F-35Bs from RAF Marham whose jets give us a very distinctive howl as they drop by. Also a single frontline RAF Typhoon dropped by from RAF Coningsby. We had an AH-64 Apache from the Army Air Corps, a pair of Texan T-1s from RAF Valley and a couple of Flights of F-15E Strike Eagles from RAF Lakenheath.
