Windows Store won't install apps? Here's a quick workaround

Not sure how I missed this project but it offers a desktop client to retrieve winstore apps. It uses the same website I linked but it should offer a bit more security and it comes with extra features like winget package management. Installation is quite simple, just unzip and run the powershell script. The app will be in your start menu when it completes.

The link is pasted below, but before proceeding pleas note the site does try to load a couple trackers from yandex. These seem to be solely for ads and don't pose any major security risk but I recommend enabling "Send Do not Track requests" in your browser settings and use a safe blocker like ublock origin:

There is also a github project and active page that utilizes the API for the website I showed but uses a proxy to add a layer of security. However the project is currently not functional. I have informed the owner but currently this would require you to build it yourself. I will leave the link here and update if this gets fixed:

I'm not sure how many people this will help but I intend to make a habit of posting small videos like this since it can often be hard to search for them
