What Was Life Like During The Cretaceous Period?
The Cretaceous period is the third and final period of the Mesozoic Era and lasted from about 145 to 66 million years ago.
Imagine a heavily armored Ankylosaurus, a gigantic Argentinosaurus and a formidable carcharodontosaurus that looks even more threatening than the name suggests. The Cretaceous was a time when some of the most awe inspiring herbivores such as Parasaurolophus – a dinosaur with a banana head and most terrifying predators like T-rex, Spinosaurus and Carnotaurus roamed the planet.
