Landing 1944: The Angels of Victory
On the night of June 5-6, 1944, 5,000 American and British paratroopers were airdropped to Normandy to prepare for the landing behind enemy lines.
These soldiers, taking all the risks so that Operation Overlord could take place in the best possible conditions, were recognized as key points in the American intervention in occupied France.
