Ashley Benefield's murder trial just finished. She planed on using the “battered-spouse syndrome defense,” claiming Doug’s behavior led to his own death, but was still found guilty.
“The Real-Life Black Swan” had people divided. Did she shoot Doug in self-defense, or did she manipulate him, use him, then kill him when she was done?
