Backpacking Freezer Pass - Mount Maude Day 1
Day 1 of my attempt to climb Mount Maude, one of Washington's tallest peaks. This day involved climbing 4000 feet in 6.5 miles, through forests, across talus fields, and alpine meadows. Freezer pass is a staging area for a summit on Maude, with gorgeous views it is one of the best campsites I've had in Washington. Enjoy!
