I'll be upfront, this was a selfish cover for me haha. I saw 'Twister' in the theaters when it came out in the 90s and at the time, thought it was the greatest action-packed modern effect heavy movie I'd ever seen. Bought the soundtrack afterwards and loved this tune. Then it was everywhere. It was Goo Goo Dolls mania! They were on every late night talk show as guests, the music video was on rotation, they even played this song at Claire's birthday party in an episode of 90210. I always leaned towards their rockier stuff but they found their calling with the ballads. We'll always have 'A Boy Named Goo' though.
