Did you know that after the mold stage on food, it becomes glassy soft? However, for this to happen, certain conditions must be met. For example, the product must be unpackaged and placed in an environment with quartz dust in the air, at room temperature - this is an excellent environment for mold to begin to interact with the product and quartz dust - a kind of fermentation.

Such conditions are difficult to achieve in simple life. For humans, inhaling silica dust is hazardous to health and can, among other things, lead to silicosis, a fatal occupational lung disease (commonly known as "miner's asthma"). But this dust does not harm mold, while quartz affects the waste products produced by mold.

Silica dust can be found in open-pit mines, sand and gravel mines, foundries and asphalt, adhesive, paint and plastics industries, as well as steel and metal processing plants. The amount of quartz in the air to achieve this effect must also be optimal, so that it is enough to create soft glass

The level of dispersion of soft glass depends on the composition of the product, its maturity, heavy oxides, and some other factors
