How to Separate Audio from Video in Premiere Pro Using Unlink
In this tutorial you’ll learn how to separate audio from video in a clip in Premiere Pro. This is done by using Unlink. And you’ll learn how to combine multiple clips on different tracks together using Link.
Here’s a quick recap:
Select the clip that you want to separate the audio and video from each other. Use the keyboard shortcut Command+L (Mac) or Control+L (Windows). To recombine them or to combine any clips together, use the same keyboard shortcuts.
Instead of the keyboard shortcut you can right-click the clip and go to Unlink/Link or select the clip and go under the Clip menu and choose Unlink/Link.
