Helicopter Ride Supai to Hilltop Parking
Best way to get to Supai is by helicopter. Expect wait 5-6 hrs in the summer. We took in december, wait just an hour. Take credit card with $10 fee, each person $85 one way. About 6-7 min ride.
We hike down and took us 4-5 hrs.
Somehow mule ride cost $250 each way.
But if you have the mule carry just your bags, up to 4 bags, is about $120 each way.
When you sign up for the helo, they ask your weight. If you get lucky, you get to sit in the front. One person assign where you sit to balance the helo. Also you can have a bag with you upto 40 lbs (?).
