That art is not about bringing in all the cash

where intelligent creative enjoyment falls
bigger pockets but kick the industry in the balls
know we all expect and want to see things that are better

instead put some attention to smaller independancy
then you can find some proper creativity
thinkin about my creative endeavours

sometimes I feel like an hour's a couple minutes
when I'm tryna crack down on my writin tryna finish
know I wont be young for a whole lot longer
avoid bitterness can't be like Iron Monger
but then you can't rush make too many mistakes
take a look back coulda used a few more takes
So we put our mind to the pen and the pen to the paper
even if no one cares about our vapor
wave, tryna be chill when we're enthused
get big enough and by the corporates we'll be used
but honestly you're better off stayin ungerground
what's fame good for if only fakes come around?
so take your eyes away from the biggest of names
except for Christ he's the most important of fame's
don't be like Vincent Vega, doesn't know what to do
so he gets filled with lead and now that's him through
but keep on runnin see the game played through
just a hobby or a dream know that either will do
make something real solid like we aint seen before
that the greedy can't make coz their minds are on the pour
of the cashflow, countin the figures,
temporary happiness, they're quick to pull the triggers
speed up production, always crunch time
I'd rather wait back off on the organised crime
the way these fools run their business
they don't care about people just their personal bigness
so broaden your horizons to smaller independancy
then you can find some proper creativity
