Clean up broken cutouts in a sheet metal part
This video shows how to reconstruct broken cuts in a sheet metal part using its existing contours. We load a CAD part from a STEP file and discover two design flaws: dangling faces are present in cutouts; dihedral angles are not 90 degrees. We interactively defeature the broken cutouts and reinsert them into the model. The obtained geometry is clean and ready for production.
